I took a monthly subscription because, so far, I like what I've read. It's refreshing to read articles that dig down logically. I do take exception to "He, Trump, did not implement any important polices." His border policies were not important? The hell they weren't. "He, Trump was not a master strategist?" Wrong. Trump is a strategist. Just because he doesn't wear it on his sleeve doesn't mean it isn't so. But, the gist of the article, "if you don't have borders, you don't have a country." Truth... to any sentient American, even those of double digit IQ. And yes, Foreigners Out! is another way of saying, MAGA. The left knows it and that's why they foam at the mouth and rip the red hats off of Nationalists Americans.
Let me come back to my first point. I bristle at the way many on our side present their arguments on behalf of the freedom that Trump manifests. Many of them start out, "While I don't like Trump,' Or, "Yeah, Trump is a loud-mouth, but..." Of course there may be things we don't like about a particular hero, but giving your enemy a fig-leaf by derogating your champion is not the way to go. I, for the record, do not believe that Trump is a well-meaning blowhard that stumbled into the white house and said something that happened to be true. Trump has been thinking of how the country was run and thinking about how he would 'run it different ly' for decades. One last thing, "If you don't have borders you don't have a country." Michael Savage has been pounding this since the early 80s on his show, the Savage Nation. His mantra, 'Borders, language and culture,' has been in my head since I first heard his show in the SF Bay Area in the 80s.
Well, I'm now a member and I hope I'll find future posts engaging and informative.
Trump is a well-meaning guy who sees where America has gone since the 90s and decided to do something. Unlike many in the radical right I respect what he's done and think it's historically important. I don't think it's just a matter of vanity, he has been saying the same things for 30 years.
That said, he is a step in the right direction and not a destination. Trump has a larger than life persona, but it's not quite mythic in the sense that we need. What is that sense? You've inspired me to write the next article on it. It's something I've discussed here in bits and pieces, but needs a full treatment. Welcome to the Substack.
The regime can continue to thrash about for a very long time if there is no coherent alternative. However, 'Auslander Raus' provides the kernel of the entire system. If there is an 'outsider' who must remain 'outsider then there must also be an 'insider' who must be brought 'insider. And 'inside' and 'outside' might be side-by-side but barriers must exist and be maintained (and protected). In essence the 'deterrent pluralism' of John C. Calhoun.
I'll have to look into the Calhoun reference. We have earmarked something by him for potential release, so it might be in there. I will also elaborate on the idea of differential ontology in a future article. I think it's right at the core of the folkish worldview.
