Films like this hit home because they speak to our folk-soul in a way that the increasingly bland and propagandistic productions of contemporary Hollywood cannot. Good analysis.
Is there any resource you'd recommend that could explain the elements of classic tragedy/epics, this was the first time I came across terms like dramatic unity and I find it interesting? Thanks, I look forward to the next one.
Aristotle's "Poetics" is where he sets out his model for tragedy, what makes it work, and these concepts I've referred to. It's super short and great advice for anyone who wants to write narrative, tragedy or otherwise.
What do you consider other hallmarks of Right Wing cinema?
John Milius is a fascinating person, arguably has written other great right wing films and one of the few of the Tribe to completely overcome his background and ascend beyond that. Pretty much anything he wrote or put out is a contender I think.

Thanks I'll pick up that soon. While I got to here, when is the Latin course coming out? Eagerly awaiting that collection lol
